Steve Boehner ( Consistory Vice-President / Church & Ministry )
Steve became a member of Zion Church in 1994. Steve serves on our Church & Ministry Commission & is the Vice-President of our Consistory. His office of servant-leadership is from 2008-2011. Steve is a graduate of Moeller High School and he works as a QA Analyst for Patheon Pharmaceuticals. He has four daughters, one grandson, a granddaughter, and two more grandchildren on the way! Steve's passion is for evangelism and missionary work. He makes frequent missionary visits to the country of Belize in South America. |

Linda Callan ( Music & Worship )
Linda became a member of Zion Church on October 10, 1971. Linda is a part of our Music & Worship Commission. Her office of servanthood is from 2008-2010. Linda graduated from Woodward High School and SHI Medical Massage School. She is a massage therapist. Linda has two grown daughters and three grandchildren. Linda would enjoy experiencing a missions trip or working with Habitat for Humanity. |

Joan Hessel ( President of Consistory / Chair, Church & Ministry )
Joan was baptized, confirmed and married at Zion. Joan is the Chair Servant-Leader of our Church and Ministry commission & is the President of our Consistory. Joan's office of servant-leadership is from 2008-2011. Joan's passion is to support the development of our dream process at Zion. Joan, a graduate of Cincinnati Public Schools, works locally in Human Resources. Joan enjoys music and singing. Joan describes herself as being ‘very analytical and methodical'. |

Janet Winter ( Director: Kidz Choir / Christian Education )
Janet was baptized and confirmed at Zion Church. She holds the Master's in Education (M.Ed.) from The University of Cincinnati. Janet, who is retired from U.C., works part-time in the Cincinnati Public Schools as a College Access Advisor. Janet has three grown children & six grandchildren. She enjoys watching her grandchildren play sports & also teaching Vacation Bible School in the summer. Janet is currently the Director of the Zion Church Kidz Choir . Janet enjoys quiet time sitting on her swing & looking at the lake learning God's plan for her on her journey. Her motto is: ‘Change can be good with the Lord by our side!' Janet feels that we are never too old to learn, & that we should always seek to listen & respect one another. |

Stephanie Ginter ( Youth Leader )
‘Steph' or Stephanie was baptized at Zion Church as an infant. Stephanie works with our ZionTeens & Zion Young Adults. Her passion is to encourage our High School and College-aged members to grow in their faith in Christ. Stephanie holds a B.A. degree from Hanover College. Stephanie is an office manager and she enjoys gardening. Stephanie and her husband, Dave, have two children. |

Jeff Hessel ( Buildings' Trustee )
Jeff became a member of Zion sometime in the late 70's after being drafted by his sister Sally to attend youth activities occurring at the time. Jeff happily married into the Wachsman clan and with Joan has been blessed with two children and one grandchild, all still at Zion. Jeff attended school in Norwood until moving to Fairfield where he graduated and holds a BBA from the University of Cincinnati. Jeff is known as the biggest "kid" around and is always busy doing something while he is at church. He jokingly refers to himself as the only member not allowed to join the Chancel Choir. Jeff is an Elder, currently serving on the Building Trustees, Mission Fund, Sacristy Team, and belongs to the Men's group and holistic small group. |

Lynn Winkler ( Chair, Stewardship & Mission )
Lynn is Zion Church's faithful Treasurer and Sunday School Superintendent. Lynn and her family have been a part of Zion Church for generations! In addition to serving the Lord as Treasurer, Lynn is a creative thinker who is dedicated to our Women's Fellowship, our children, as well as our broader community of Norwood. In October 2006 Lynn was voted one of Church Women United's 10 Outstanding Women of the Year ! Lynn works at Federal Credit Union in the greater Cincinnati area. |

Alice Kueckels ( Music & Worship )
Alice became a member of Zion Church in 2003. She is serving the Lord on our Music and Worship Commission. Her office is from 2008-2010. Alice seeks to make our worship at Zion more and more meaningful while also being concerned to reach out to our broader community of Norwood. Alice, who has a background in business college, is retired. She enjoys gardening, watercolor, and reading. Alice has four children and two grandchildren. |

Joyce Orr ( Teaching Pastor / Chair, Music & Worship )
Joyce became a member of Zion Church in 1957 when her parents started attending. Joyce is serving the Lord as the Chair of Zion's Music and Worship Commission from 2008-2011. Joyce's focus in developing her commission will be to apply the ‘Inspiring Worship' quality characteristic of Natural Church Development (NCD) to our worship experience with liturgy, praise, and teaching. Joyce holds a bachelor's degree from U.C.'s College of Business Administration and has worked for many years in the computer industry. Joyce's passions range from storytelling to theology. Joyce is the Teaching Pastor of Zion Church. |

Brian is a Servant-Leader serving on our Stewardship and Mission Commission from 2007-2009. He is the proud Dad of Aiden! Brian is actively involved in the ‘Men of Valor' men's fellowship as its Treasurer, and is an accountant in the Greater Cincinnati Area. |

Bob Smith (Chair, Buildings' Trustee )
Bob became a member of Zion Church on February 4, 2007. Bob faithfully serves the Lord at Zion as the Chair of our Building Trustees commission [2007-2009]. Bob recently came “off the road” and now works for Hamilton County as a software developer. Bob has 20+ years experience in the field. Bob who is married to Karla, has three children and is actively involved in area Scouting. |

Gail Snow (Chair, Christian Education )
Gail became a member of Zion Church in September 2002. Gail serves the Lord in many ways at Zion Church, but her present focus is upon the Christian Education Commission from 2008 to January 2010 of which she is Chair. Gail's focus in ministry with her commission is to “help children and adults come closer in their journey with God and how they can serve God.” Gail, a housekeeper, graduated from High School in 1976. She enjoys crocheting, antiquing, and beading. Gail, married to Rick, has one son and two grandchildren. Gail's passion is to serve God as best as she can with the gifts that God has given her! |

Jackie Grant ( Prayer Coordinator / Stewardship & Mission )
Jackie chose to become a member of Zion Church in August, 2008 after many years of non-affiliation with a church. Currently, she is serving as the Secretary of the Consistory and as a servant on the Stewardship & Mission Commission for the 2009-2011 terms. Jackie's passion is to deepen her commitment to personal and community prayer as well as to draw others to the study and practices of new (yet ancient) ways of prayer. She recently assumed the role of Prayer Coordinator as a means to invite the congregation into a more prayerful and caring unity by keeping them informed of prayer requests, specific needs, and celebratory events. |
